How do you make people care about biodiversity loss happening thousands of kilometres away?

The film turned absence into the message. Instead of showing endangered wildlife, we removed the animals from familiar nature-documentary scenes, making biodiversity loss visible through what is missing. A familiar documentary voice-over reinforces the contrast between what we expect to see and what is no longer there.
